Zirc the Jerk is a physical manifestation of the evil that was within the mirror that corrupted Nehelenia. If you compare her face towards the end of the series when she sticks her head out of the mirror with Zirc’s face you will see a major similarity.

I really enjoy this one! It’s pretty funny. And poor Amazoness Quartet. Always being picked on by Zirconia. It’s good they rebelled against her! And these are really well drawn!

I always found the Amazoness Quartet to be really amusing and really liked them rebelling against her! Poor Zirconia too though, no one pays respect for the old lady (The Amazon Trio did, but it’s her fault for getting rid of them XD)

Isn’t VesVes the animal trainer out of the group? She would be happy going to the zoo than. I don’t know if that is just shown in the anime at all- the Dream arc is my favorite in the manga and I know she is there. Besides that I love the comic, I almost forgot to check again. Need to remember you update again. :D
ahah good point about VesVes being the animal trainer (I actually forgot that point!) I just thought PallaPalla would always be most enthusiastic and zoos are mainly exciting for the kids. Plus VesVes was always more skeptical about Zirconia, and her taking them on an excursion to the zoo seems suspicious 8D
That is true. I also got the impression that VesVes was annoyed with CereCere primping herself.

The first 3 frames is Zirconia’s dream- and in the last shot it shows her dreaming and Zircon (The eyeball) is getting ready to snap a pic of her (because she considers her having “Beautiful dreams”

This comic is hilarious, but “Amazones Quartetto”? I’ve always thought that was one of Ian Miller’s weakest arguments concerning Sailor Moon etymology/Romanization. To me, “Amazoness Quartet” makes much more sense.
huh. I thought Chibi using “Amazoness Quartetto” just added that bit of fun excitement for the field trip. Thought it was cute. Wasn’t aware it was an alternate fan name. :/

Hahaha, well there’s a whole article on Miller’s site as to why “Amazoness Quartet” is the wrong way to Romanize their title, and Takeuchi meant for their name to be “Amazones Quartetto.” Though I usually love Ian Miller’s articles, I find that one to be loose, particularly his argument that “Amazoness” should be “Amazones” because apparently the word “Amazon” already refers to women in mythology, so the -ness ending is redundant. This makes no sense to me, as we already have the Amazon Trio as three men, and it’s established that the “Amazon” suffix refers to the actual Amazon Jungle, not to any mythological warriors.
This has no reflection on the comic itself, however; it’s just a point of interest and fan debate. I love how Jen not only makes all of the characters instantly recognizable, but also gives everyone fair treatment; last week was Pluto and Chibi-Usa, now we get the Amazoness Quartet, etc…
I use the same logic as well. Quarteto is also just poor romanization of Quartet in my opinon. And the whole jungle thing is correct. The amazon Trio even states “We’re a big circus from the mysterious Amazon: The Dead Moon Circus” in the musicals.
Yeh Amazoness Quartet is much more commonly used but since our affiliate over at The Oracle refers to them as Amazones Quartetto I thought it may as well use it as well XD I have no real preference though, I’m happy to use either XD
=) I didn’t mean to stir anything up, it was just an interesting point in the comic I felt was worth mentioning.
