Here you’ll find photos I’ve taken of old notes I made while coming up with MoonSticks ideas :D They act as rough storyboards and were scribbled down during my brainstorming sessions. A lot of the ones you’ll find here have been turned into finished comics, though a large number of them never quite made it (might use them for future ones!)
#35 How Pluto took Hotaru Back
Most of my doodles were done on coloured post-it notes and a 200 page note book!
#10 Rei’s Horrific Discovery and #48 Short End of the Glaive
#45 No Longer A Planet and [Snow Time for MoonSticks] (Yes, hiatus pics had doodles too!)
#57 The Outer Senshi’s Fall and #44 Ami’s Terrifying Dilemma
#36 Time for Star Powers and #38 A Sailor Soldier’s Pride
I cracked up quite a bit when I stumbled across this piece of paper while cleaning out my drawers:
“Why Sticks? They’re like sticks..bony! (with a big Chibi head)”
HAHAHAA. I almost forgot that actually happened XD
Gosh… I need to dig out my old idea for the strips one day! :-3 Sadly, I can’t do Scans currently… :-(
Woow… u’r so talented and have a great sense of humour. Thank you so much. Otsukare
Thank you Vee, that’s very nice of you :)
I like that!I hope i can draw like that
2 cute
i hope you draw more comics
I always thought making comics would be so complicated (not saying moonsticks is super-easy or anything ^^)but I feel like I could definitely make my own comic when I see the brainstorming process :D thanks chibi jen ^^
You’re welcome :) The important thing is coming up with the idea, and then figuring out how you can best tell the story. These were just the initial stages, and nothing is finalised at all until I draw it on the computer and move things around :)
This is quite interesting! I always wonder how many people start their comics, so thank you for sharing! ^___^
Glad you found it interesting :)!
