I am convinced that Ceres is the leader of the Amazon Quartet like Sailor Venus is for the Inner Senshi that Ceres is Rini’s body double.
Just like Venus was her Senshi Double in the 90’s Anime when Usagi had her Pure Heart Crystal taken from her and somebody needed to fill in and kick Kaorinite’s ass.

I mean, yea, there are only so many colours, and I get how her pink hair can be useful for a body-double strat like Venus and Moon, as others have mentioned, but why couldn’t Ceres have yellow fuku instead ? Her ball’s colout in the 90s was yellow for Cosmos’ sake lol
The movie was a glorious eyecandy for sure, but gotta say I’m still not used to how fast-paced everything is in crystal / manga storyline. Guess I’m just way too used to the 90s anime format where they fleshed out even the most mundane everyday lives of like each character haha. I imagined this must be how the three Outers are feeling watching Hotaru grow so quickly day by day lmaoo xDD

I get that Ceres is supposedly like Sailor Venus is to Sailor Moon, but at least they didn’t wear the same colour. ;D Maybe yellow is just not a flattering colour to wear ^^”
I agree, the Sailor Moon Eternal movie is delicious eye candy! I love how everything looks and the new art style.. resembling the 90s anime but with a fresher modern look :) The pacing is pretty fast paced aye? The Amazon Trio come and go…
Yaay and you bet I will keep cheering you on ! ^^ Bumping into one of your comic strips (I think it was how Saturn always got the short end of the glaive in the 90s anime looll) was one of the best things that happened to me, then I found the entire website and it was just like an entire treasure trove 8D

Yisss I LOVE how great they all look, and then the backgrounds are just *chef’s kiss xD music is getting really good and memorable too, so props to the team :] yea I was pretty bummed since I loved Amazon Trio so much.. I got attached to Fish Eye thanks to those 2 SuperS episodes but now he’s just another “monster of the day” if this was episode-based :( Hawk Eye caught my interest more this time around xD

I have always thought that it was just a throwaway thought that Takeuchi-sama had, that if Serenity and Endymion had managed to get married in Silver Millennium then their guardians would have been thrown together and would have paired up for convenience as much as affection.

I get that they’d probably work during the Silver Millennium; with Serenity keeping sneaking down to Earth to see Endymion, all eight guardians would most likely have crossed paths with each other more than once.
How convenient that they each like someone different lol. Could easy form some love triangles if that were the case…

to me it is the same as moon and venus having the same hair color. aka it makes it easier for venus/ceres to be a body double to protect the real princess in times of danger. now the fukus…presumably in the future Princess Lady Serenity will be Sailor Moon since her mother Neo-Queen Serenity is no longer Sailor Moon
I guess we will never know unless they made a new series for the future generation senshi.

I have read your Comment, and I suppose if you look carefully at her hair and Fuku (from fan-art and official pictures), you can see that maybe it is a Salmon-Pinkish color?
That is what I see when I look at it. Or…
It could also be a lighter-pink color or something like that as well. :)
BTW; fun fact about the differences between Chibi Moon and Ceres:
Chibi Moon has red eyes. Ceres has literal pink eyes! I just found that out very recently myself.
Because in the 90’s Anime, Ceres has red eyes. In the Original Manga and now in Eternal, she has kept her original pink-eye color. <3

That’s a really good question. Cause Ceres’ ball and stuff in the 90s anime always comes up yellow. Never her pink color.
Maybe pink just looks better than yellow…. XDDD
Then again, Sailor Moon and Sailor Venus both have blonde hair…

Because she needs to be Chibi Moon’s copycat to protect her as Venus was protecting Moon Princess.
