I find it funny that even as a 7 year old who knew nothing of homosexuality I was still able to instantly recognize these two as lovers even without the music and rose petals lol Though that immediate recognition may just have been my own lesbianism showing through at a young age ^^; the worst part was my confusion after my younger sister got in my face and furiously argued that they were cousins. she has since come to accept the truth. |D
I know what you mean though i was showing more to be bi then lesbian sadly i’m a bi and I can’t change it but I’m not one of those bi girls thankfully xP
As soon as I saw them in the Dic version, I was like: “Yeah…sure they’re cousins…I have cousins, and I do NOT hug them like that.” My next thought was that the Dic dub was an epic fail. They tried to turn an anime for teens into a show for little kids.
Actually, the show was for kids in Japan.
Hitoshi Doi’s page said the show was aimed at 4-12 year olds.
Yeah, the whole cousins thing confused the HELL outta me when I was a kid. I knew cousins didn’t hug like that.
hehe, at the very least you got to see S on TV ;) Here in Australia it was never broadcast at all..I only heard about the bizarre cousin thing you guys went through ^^;
nor do they talk to each other like Ruka and Michi do, or that episode where Michiru says she likes Haruka’s hands?? lol XD
