  10. at least it’s easier than the over convoluted plans to find the star seeds… i mean, how about looking for the sailors instead, i mean, it’s not like galaxia got anything from value from anyone else.

    1. The strange thing is that Galaxia somehow knew Mamoru had a true star seed and got that one, but then didn’t think about that sailor soldiers would be the most likely other people to possess them (even though she had previously collected true star seeds from sailors on other planets). In the manga, the Mauian cats also have true star seeds, but the Mau backstory isn’t in the anime so maybe anime Tin Nyanko didn’t realize she could try to extract star seeds from Luna and Artemis.

  14. when i was younger my mom woudn’t let me watch sailor stars because she didn’t want to explain that the starlights were men that turn into women to her 3 year old (she probly thought id ask to many questions )

  15. Just read through all your comics. This is the best one! So true, so funny!
    Maybe it’s cultural differences — they are from an entirely different solar system somewhere out there. Does it have any boy bands or not?? Are they trying to indigenize to keep their identities hidden from Galaxia?? How many months of work did they have to put in before releasing their first single??
    Can’t wait for more Starlights gags! Keep up the great work.

    Yeah I didn’t fully understand why they transform into guy’s. I mean I understand that there looking for there princess and on Earth guy’s are attracted to girls which his why they became guy’s that it might have been less suspicious.. But there’s nothing wrong with three girls looking for another girl I mean come on they could have said she’s a dear friend of there’s and that they have no idea where she’s at. Could have work O.o

    Plus I all way’s thought the plan of there’s was made up by some fain girls or something like that lol

  29. Lol, so f*cking true! This never made ANY SENSE, what ere they thinking, man? XD I love these comics, they lol at all the stupid little things in Sailor Moon anime, even though we still love it, it’s good not to take stuff too serious and see the flaws XD

  38. As plans go, it’s not that bad. For the most part, it’s “Become known worldwide, then she will come to us!”, with a bit of “Use our concert tour/movie filming/whatever else we are doing to travel to places she might be, and search there”.

      1. Earth’s population was over 6 billion when this season first aired (7 billion or so now). This might just be the quickest way to find her in that many people.

    1. The guy thing was something they only did in the anime. Never really explained it either. Just that they were in “disguise”. Made no sense. But that doesn’t make me NOT love the idea of male seiya!

Oh, just FYI, those are real actual male religious figures… in particular, they are the Hindu Holy Trinity…. they are considered inherently spiritually male… and the author on this show didn’t like them… I mean, she doesn’t like boys at all, and in her notes that she released, kept calling them names like “egotistical jerk”, and then wrote that they would be butch and manly but female-bodied, like drag kings…. so, the anime edited her a bit and put a number of edits in their favor, and based a lot of the episode content with them more on Hinduism… but them being male is true, the made up part, is the “sailor” part, which you can find on this show only… anyway, Seiya/Fighter in particular is supposed to be Shiva, the Destroyer, and has his personality… here, this deity, I can show you him: http://youtu.be/u9L24n6FBDk He is definitely normally associated with maleness and masculinity. Poor Seiya, was getting bashed really bad by the author… :(

        1. Oh wow, that’s interesting! I never knew about that… I just know Naoko Takeuchi doesn’t like the Sailor Stars anime because they physically changed the Sailor Starlights into male when they were originally female in her version. I personally liked the Starlights a lot more in the anime, despite the oddness that they were able to transform like that.

          1. Yeah, it is the truth! Those are real religious figures (well, God, they are God, from religion of Hinduism), and she didn’t invent them, she doesn’t even like them at all, she was just making fun of them…. ^^;; That is why she got edited….

            “Even destruction is necessary for peace day after day”
            and “With my hair disheveled, I dance dance dance!”

            And then maybe, you can understand better, who they were writing lines for, and what they were trying to show you… ::laughs:: :)

            Taiki is Brahma, the Creator and has his personality (he gets married to Saraswati, she is the goddess of wisdom and water). And Yaten is Krishna, or Lord Vishnu, the Preserver, and has his personality… (He is really sweet, and beautiful, he is a life protecting god that is connected to all life forms, he is sort of a demon slayer and kills evil demons…. He gets married to the goddess of gold and beauty, actually, he is Cupid’s father).

            Shiva, he is usually worshiped via a Shivling, which is, well, like a male + female fertility symbol, where he’s the male part, his wife is the female part…

            (Of course, he does not really get romantically rejected…. again Takeuchi just hates him and making fun of him…) >.<

            If you like Seiya, and like comics… and want to see him more…mmm, I would recommend maybe… Shiva Legends of the Immortal by Vimanika Comics…. or for a tv serial about him you could see maybe Devon Ke Dev Mahadev http://youtu.be/RAwnnlG9PhA …. it is good, and, not making fun of him… :) There is a lot of other good ones too… anyway, you can see him whenever you want… probably, many people do see his picture sometimes, like if you ever went to a yoga studio or like an Indian restaurant… ;P

You think this shows some insight into the Starlights, but actually, it reveals the super secret back story and personal info of Princess Kakyuu, known throughout the universe as the most boy-band-loving, pop-song-singing, school-loitering, crowd-following, musical-going, movie-watching wino ever. Her Starlights know EXACTLY what they are doing. :D

    And lol at some steps of their serious plan xDD I don’t seem to see how doing wine commercial or going to school is gonna help them with their search, and number 3 might as well be “write two songs” XD

      1. Yea, since those two songs of theirs were apparently the most popular ones (more like the only two we ever know xD), hence being sung all the time in all of their concerts.

        I know aye, real identities aside (since they kinda drifted apart instead after knowing one another’s identities) , they were supposed to be celebs – how lucky could Usagi’s group get to be able to hang out with them most of the time ? Man, the privileges you can get as main characters… XD

          1. Yeaa, surely all their fans would get jealous of Usagi’s group for hanging out ever so nonchalantly with Three Lights XD

            Aa, guess I’ve heard those once (I dunno if there are more, but Seiya’s is like unrequited love or something), though I’m not that big of a fan of character songs. Their original ｢Nagareboshi he｣ and ｢Todokanu Omoi｣ are still my favourites, because they were played so many times during the season run, and ended up giving me deep impressions xD
