Sailor Moon Crystal season 3 “Infinity Arc” continues from Act 27 of the manga, known as ‘Sailor Moon S’ from the 90s anime. Sailor Moon Crystal follows closely to the manga storyline, introducing the much anticipated outer senshi; Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune and Sailor Saturn- assembling all 10 Senshi including Sailor Chibimoon!

  1. I have a few nitpicks, but nothing that really had a huge negative impact on the season for me. I would’ve liked to have seen Eudial’s daimon form, and if some of the more disturbing scenes/violent from the manga weren’t toned down as much. But not having these didn’t “ruin” anything for me. I think the only thing I outright disliked was having to sit through everyone’s transformations and speeches… again… on the second episode. You CAN have too much of a good thing.

Other than that it was really just absolutely fantastic, and I’m so freaking pumped for Dream.

  2. I loved it but I was hoping for something to acknowledge the Uranus/Neptune romance. I realize they stayed pretty true to the manga but they have made changes and I would have loved to see a little nod to their romance.

  3. They could have ACTUALLY made Saturn end the world after the cliffhanger of episode 12 and drain all the senshi’s strength like in the manga…Eudial could have turned into her gorgon form…Mimet should have been seen as incompetent asking Kaolinite for assistance in her fight with the senshi, Kaolinite’s ressurecting the Witches 5 ritual could have been more graphic like in the manga…Sailor Moon’s illusion in the Infinite Labyrinth could have been more disturbing…and they could have cooled it om the stock footage attacks and have them perform in real time…

BUT other than those small differences and nitpicks…I LOVED IT! It’s impossible to make EVERY tiny detail accurate to the manga but overall Season III was GREAT! It was definitely hands down the best season of Crystal so far and I can’t wait for the Dream and Stars arcs to be animated. When Ami jumped out of the window ans transformed into Mercury… was probably one of the most badass scenes in the season and Toei executed that scene flawlessly!

  4. It was very good, well animated. They better keep that animation studio now, lol. Original S and S are different in terms of drama, but they’re both pretty good.

  5. I haven’t watched it yet. I’m waiting for the dub. I’m also really looking forward to seeing the original season 3 with the dub. Hopefully the wait won’t be too long!
