  1. If he went to the U.S., he’d have to deal with a bunch of various comic book heroes. If he went to France, he’d have to deal with Miraculous Ladybug. If he went to the U.K., he’d have to deal with Doctor Who. There’s not a lot of places to go when you think about it.

  2. Hey, that IS a pretty good Idea, just watch out for the kangaroos, they pack quite a punch, or should I say: quite a kick. LMFAO!!!

  3. It makes more sense why the villains always attack Tokyo in the second arc.The Black Moon Clan attack Tokyo because that’s the base for the future city. But with everyone else,it seems kinda random

    1. It has to do with the manga. In the manga, the Dark Kingdom searched the rest of the world for the Legendary Silver Crystal before coming to Japan.

  4. that really is odd considering Dark kingdom is not even located in Japan. If Final episodes of first season is to go by it is located somewhere in the Arctic meaning it is probably in Canada/Russia/Greenland ( Denmark)/ Scandinavia countries. So tell me… what is with Dark kingdom and their fascination to attack Japan again?

    1. Because Beryl was after other things then just energy. The crystal, her crush, and of course, killing the Princess and her Senshi. All of which required her to send her forces to Tokyo. So they had good reasons to attack Tokyo, they just should have been attacking other places at the same time.

    2. The Dark Kingdom is at D Point, on the North Pole; so it isn’t any of those places.

And, at the the manga, they had people looking for the silver crystal all around the world, the anime mentions it too with Minako/Venus fighting at London.

  5. Just sayin, if they assaulted a Twilight opening at the theatres, they would have never needed to gather energy again.

  6. Lol that’s Queen Beryl for ya!

Oh and I just noticed that in the anime and manga and just in general Jedite kind of looks like Haruka! Like legit. Who agrees with me? Probably no one :p

  7. lol unforuntaely they cant attack the states either cuz we got superheroes and nukes

  8. The same problem crops up in Super Sentai, as well. I’m sure all of the different main villains have a club meeting and decide where funds go, and they NEVER go into travel EVEN THOUGH SOME OF THEM CAN TRAVEL THROUGH SPACE. (This is probably how Beryl got the Putty Patrol on loan in the live-action Sailor Moon XD)

    1. Whyyy not? I want Jadeite to come visit me in Aus!!! If he did, I’d hug him to deatttttthhhhhhhh *w*

        1. Yep. NOOOOTHINGGGGG. Except maybe… Um… Give me a minute…

          SEVEN HOURS LATER

Nope. I can’t think of anything. Nothing happens here.

  9. haha, i’m sure this has gone through everyone’s mind at least once. and loving the colored comics, they look great!

  10. Yeah ALWAYS thought this. If you in another country they can’t stop you. Cept for the teleport but it would still be too late. Them conveniently always being there was the only annoying thing about the series.

  11. Wait why would Jadeite need a plane ticket if their base is all the way in the Antarctic? Couldn’t he just teleport there or is it like Pokémon logic where you need to be in a new place first before flying (in this case teleporting) there?

  12. Another thing that’s occurred to me: even if the bad guys relocated somewhere Senshi-free, wouldn’t they just Sailor Teleport there and kick their asses all the same? Sure, Jadeite didn’t live long enough even to see Sailor Jupiter awaken. But still, if someone else were to take up on the idea, even Zoisite or Kunzite, Sailor Teleport would still beat that. That’s how they made it to the Dark Kingdom’s home base up at the North Pole, after all.

    1. It would still make things a lot more difficult though. There’s no way the senshi would have been able to stop them so quickly each time since it would take time for them to even realise the enemies were attacking (especially if they were discreet about it) If they were all in Japan, and the bad guy is over in China or something, how would they know? And when they are figured out, they could target a different area.
I still feel like, despite Sailor Teleport, their plans would still be a lot more effective than attacking just walking distances from the Sailor Senshi.

  13. So funny ‘keep it short, Jadeite, I’m busy with my ball’ – that really got me rofl

      1. I always thought that Jadeite was first the general in charge of using Japan as an energy source. When he died, Nephrite was brought in and then Zoisite and Kunzite.

  14. Haha I’m not surprised the Dark Kingdom’s a little tight on cash. Between Jadeite’s radio show, fitness studio, cruise ship etc; Nephrite’s car and mansion; and Kunzite’s moon princess scouting plans, Beryl’s probably up to her neck in debts :P

    1. Well, not every baddie can get to be Lex Luthor, you know. xD

By the way, don’t forget the bus. Though, thinking of it now, he could’ve just popped a portal open somewhere at random and driven to pick up unsuspecting young female passengers there, instead of always passing in front of the same Shinto Shrine whose priestess might eventually catch on to what you’re doing.

  15. I feel bad for Jadeite if Michiru heard about him targeting the Sydney Opera House, I don’t think she’d be happy about that.

  16. Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t Jadeite the Commander of the Far East Division in the manga? So it’ll make more sense for him to suggest somewhere else, like China or Russia.

      1. Now that I think of it, if Jadeite commands the Far East Division, Nephrite controls the North American Division, Zoisite taking charge of the European Division, and Kunzite ruling over the Middle Eastern Division, then what about the rest of the world? *Is confused*

  17. you know if he really wanted to go they could pick pocket the money or steal a plane or a boat.
but i’m just asking can’t they teleport? that’s it, it shows beeing evil makes one stupid to obvious things.

  18. Hehe, you have gotten in ahead of me :D
I have been thinking about making a similar cartoon about all villains on the show who chose Tokyo for their evil plans, especially targeting family members/friends/colleagues of the Sailor Team at a place and at a time when one of them passes by :D
    Nice work *hug*

  19. HaHAHHAhahaha!!! Busy with my ball! XDD
wait…. is that how much it will cost you to get a flight to Tokyo from Aussie?! D:

    1. yaaay cycynnnn :D
haha nah, it shouldn’t cost that much.. more like $1500 mark XD Jadeite probably wanted to increase his allowance so he could spent it on other goods while he’s there (on Holiday XD)

  20. This was actually covered in the Another Story SNES game. The senshi just went to wherever the enemies were…so the REAL problem is that there are always as many (or fewer than)enemy bosses as there are Senshi. If there were just ONE more baddy than Senshi, they wouldn’t be able to stop them all even if they all worked independently IN TOKYO.

  21. poor jeddy ^^ he tried so hard but this ugly bitch never acknowledged his effort ;_; i liked him so much… and for almost every evil helper someone cried, but no one for him ;_;
yeah, i always wondered why every sailor senshi lived in japan and tokyo on top of that. and I asked myself whether there are more sailor senshis in the world :3

  22. Too bad they can’t teleport holding hands like the sailor scouts! XD
Actually, if Queen Beryl would buy them tickets to a different country to each one, and they start gathering energy at the same time… the sailors couldn’t fight them, I’m not sure they can travel/teleport separated!

Love your strips, keep them coming ♥

    1. hahaa yesh! Though in the Sailor Moon ‘Another Story’ RPG I think a similar thing happens where the enemy were all over the world and the senshi had to split up and fight alone! Pretty interesting ^^

Thanks so much for your kind support <3

  23. You’ll notice they never think about going to the US. Because ‘Murica.

That and we’d probably recruit them. >.>

  24. With the new Sailor Moon anime, Jadeite’s plan may just be put into action. Attacking around the world for energy, and only attacking Tokyo for the mcguffin crystal (and to kill the princess).

    1. Jadeite’s plan now has a bit more of trouble in the fact that she may have a lot of competition in the form of whatever group of terrorists are in the way. Seriously, a bomb-car kinda kills the energy sucking mood.

      1. Maybe if… They had done what the Simpsons did when they visited Japan, to wait for the airline to sell the tickets of those passengers that din’t showed up?

      1. I have a reason for that: it’s an unspoken rule that for an anime to be good, it *has* to be in Japan/wherever the good guys operate/live in. So, it isn’t Beryl being a cheapskate, she’s following the script!

  25. Didn’t Minako actually live abroad when she was Sailor V? Or is my memory tricking me into believing that Artemis and Minako have done quite a job protecting peace outside Japan also?

  26. I always wondered why they didn’t just attack another country. Like Canada or Russia, for example, seeing as their technical “base” was supposed to be the North Pole…

      1. Maybe it was that underground tunnel thing they ran into in the last ep of season 1. It probably tunneled into a mini wormhole under the Bering Strait or something, that led directly under Tokyo, so they figured “hey, why not use this semi-magical, but mostly scientifical, tunnel thing to attack whatever country it comes out under? We’ll sure save a load on jet fuel that way, even if we don’t get the frequent flier miles!’
And Metallia was probably all like, ‘finally, my minions are using their brains for something!’

  27. actually i just remembered something else, jadeites in command of the farbeast division, nephlite the north american division and i forget the other 2, this would imply that they WERE attacking other areas, but repositioned theyre resources to take out the senshi, their biggest threat in finding the silver crystal which they knew was in the tokyo area.

      1. She can also send Nephrite to North America, Zoicite to Europe, and Kunzite to the Middle East… maybe she’s just being a cheapskate with Jadeite. P-:

          1. Considering it sounds like she just sets them up to fail, I think it might be both. :P

            Good comic as usual. :)

  28. Hahaha poor, poor Jadeite. If only someone had listened to him, the Dark Kingdom could have ruled the world!

      1. Yeah, she can travel across the galaxy in seconds and go to any part of the planet but just goes to Tokyo.

  29. XD so great. Though, I think they keep attacking Japan because of the huge power source (aka Sailor Moon and her Senshi) generate.
    Light attracts the dark. >:D
Anyways, Jadeite is so adorable. :D

    1. Thank you!! :D :D

hahaha yeah, that explanation is the only one close to making some sense, but it always bugged me that EVERY ONE comes to Japan. Pure Heart Crystals? Japan. Dream Mirror? Japan. Star Seeds? Japan. XDDDD

  30. Budget. That’s what retires the best of plans.

I kinda wonder what most of these ‘sit around’ bad guys do while their underlings are in the field.

  31. oh geez XD is that why they never go to different countries?! they always attack tokyo where the sailor scouts LIVES,and not go to any country at all!!! I just don’t understand it,but it’s still funny rofl

      1. Every Giant monster, demonic being, alien empire all focus on Japan. It’s so bad, even in a recent Godzilla movie, 2001, they say ‘Can’t godzilla attack a different country for once? Why always Japan?”

  32. I’ve always wondered about this too. Every sentai show essentially had this happening. The monsters all spoke Japanese, conveniently too. Lol

  33. It is basically the equivalent of all those Hollywood movies in which the villains always put ‘Murica as their target of invasions, wars, etc etc ! XD and lol at Queen Beryl being busy with her ball, more like all the time xDD

And I can see she is (or you are ? XD) still trying to show her bums off whenever possible hahaha. Lovin’ the recurring gag ! :[)

    1. Thanks for the comment V_Lix! :D
You have to wonder what Beryl actually does with the ball… At least Wiseman had a legit reason with his fortelling XDD So glad you noticed the Beryl gag too ;D I do wanna keep it consistent with MoonSticks #2, heheheee ^^

      1. Omg I knooww… It’s so weird that she keeps fiddling with her ball most of the times we see her and we never know what she sees in that floating thang XD Yeah I’m so glad that you still keep the consistency of your comic as a continuity. Too bad it got obstructed with a box in MoonSticks #70 (Not that I’m a pervert for looking at Queen Beryl’s arse xD), although I later saw you’ve edited the pic and posted in on your FB page haha.

One more thing, why does Jadeite (or the whole Dark Kingdom, for that matter) even bother paying for plane ticket fare when they have the so-called Dark Power ? I mean, they’re the villains for a reason lol XDDD

        1. ahahha nope! They can just teleport anywhere they want, really. They do it all the time going to Tokyo, and heading back to their headquaters in North Pole. I was just poking some fun at Jadeite ;D

And yes, I fixed the Beryl picture..at least the one posted on this site ^.^
