Ami-chan’s pot comment reminds me of the Legend of Zelda game series where Link can throw stuff (i.e. pots and, in Link to the Past, bushes) at enemies and it would kill them.

Mercury was pretty much kinda-useless in the beginning. She only really got her first offensive attack in the second part of SMR. I don’t think her attacks were that strong when compared to the other senshi though. Of course Aqua Mirage is pwn (shame she only uses it once…).
Mercury is quite weak on her own, but her bubbles really do make good distractions! She even pwned Prince Endymion with it XD haha, that sure was interesting to watch, lol.
Her brain makes up for it :)

That’s it! Yes, Mercury was weak by herself. But gold with a group. Well, she’s strong by herself Post-season one(when given attacks that cause damage) Her bubbles are a distraction, rather than an attack. Still, thanks to her intelligence, she’s quite useful. All prep time users are. She even stalemated Evil Prince Endymion, you’re right. Ami was pretty fast as a rookie. See how fast she moved to steal the crystal from Endymion? All you saw were dash lines.
In conclusion of my rambling, Ami is underestimated. But don’t let her fool you…..
