I always found it weird Naru was excluded from the Sailor Stars anime when she had a cameo in the Stars Arc in the manga (Eating lunch with Usagi, Haruka, and Michiru in the school cafeteria during one panel)…. yet, she wasn’t mentioned at all in the Mugen or Dream Arcs in the manga, but had a few episodes for herself in S and SuperS. xD

Actually Naru did make an appearance in the Mugen arc, along with Umino a little later in the chapter. Naru is with the other inner senshi when Usagi is playing the racing game right before meeting Haruka. After she leaves Naru says she knows she seen her somewhere (and promptly confusing Haruka as a guy), and makes the guess that she has to be famous. When mentioned that Haruka was wearing the Mugen uniform, Umino pops in and says what he knows about the school. Naru (who I’m guessing because it doesn’t show her face in the panel) finds Haruka’s racing info in what I’m guessing is a magazine, possibly a book.
I had to double check it on Manga Fox, but I’m positive on it. Still I think being Usagi’s original best friend she could of been given more time in the manga and anime.
At least they gave her more focus in the PGSM live action ^^;

So adorable! Now that I see this, I feel like we missed out on having a cute Naru-chan senshi! I’d pick her over that nasty football player senshi who shot sweat balls as a defense . . . what was his name? Sailor Guts? Gimme Sailor N!

AHAHAHAHAHAHAAA! I don’t know how many times I thought to myself: “Where the f is Naru? She just disappeared.” You’ve successfully explained what happened.
We took them for granted in the first four seasons XD
I read somewhere that the creator was gonna make her a sailor scout but didn’t for some reason.. maybe that’s just fan speculation i’m not sure

I know a lot of people make her “Sailor Earth” in fanfics. Or, at least, they used to.
Yeah, I see that all the time, too, making Naru a Senshi (usually Sailor Earth). Sometimes it made sense, other times it didn’t
It just doesn’t really work since Mamoru is the defender of earth, so the ‘earth senshi’ is already taken ^^;
