She should have taken Galaxia’s implication as a bluff and tried her destruction power anyway. Uranus and Neptune only needed one target to prove their loyalty.
She does and it makes me sad
They all transform in dream and stars.
Hopefully she actually gets a transformation eventually and not just that “awakening” sequence :P
that is her job, when awakened destroy and everything then sleep again. She is the infamous senshi. I think the manga showed it , so i think crystal will show it too, i havent watch the latest episodes of crystal so i dunno.
Yeah, I always felt she got cheated when it came to screen-time.

I just don’t get why Saturn wasn’t featured enough in Stars. I love Saturn to death. She has that mystic-loner quality that I can sort of relate to.

I hate how she never appeared during the middle of Stars. IT would’ve been cool to see her blast some Phages and get feisty
Yeah..it is quite a huge let down, especially how excited we all got seeing her return at the start of the arc!
In the manga Michiru was in charge of food and health stuff, Sensuna was in charge of education, and Haruka.. was in charge of diapers and being Hotaru’s playmate….

Yes indeed! I was really disappointed that after the first six episodes of Sailor Stars, Hotaru barely shows up at all except at the end. I also loved Haruka’s line in the last panel!

If they let Saturn fight then they may have won faster… I still cant believe they where able to kill her and pluto. They do not have pure hearts if you ask me… I wouldnt turn against my friends then kill them.

Saturn’s character was even more abandoned than Pluto’s. Toei destroyed Pluto and Saturn in the anime!
But we love them just as much anyway XD
Poor Saturn, she was always the cool one but doesn’t get a lot of screen time. D: SHE DESERVES IT DAMMIT! but that’s a bit too late since the show aired like more than a decade ago….

Well well.. back again :D Sorry for being late.. holidays in italy! It was great. But now i’m happy to be back.. (damn.. i realy need to learn better english.. i takes me ~5 minutes and a lot of google work to “create” only one sentence xD)
Pooor poor hotaru-chan! Alway on the last place.. although she’s sooo powerfull! O_o thats just not fair. I realy like her charakter.. she’s one of my favorite soldiers :) Her eyes… *Q* <3

I think you’re doing a fine job, your English is fine =) And yes, Hotaru does have pretty eyes, they’re quite distinctive compared to the other girls (I think the other outer senshi eyes look very similar to each other)

Poor child. Possessed by an alien overlord for an entire season only to be turned into a baby at the end and then finally when gets her chance at the limelight, it’s all scrapped in the favor of Haru and Michi’s “coolness”. *sigh* I’d argue for Setsuna too, but the woman did get a sufficient spot before the rest of the subteam a season earlier.
lol, I can imagine Pluto still giving you that annoyed/sweatdrop look XD
I guess Setsu-chan would be kind of pissed at that. But seriously, for the short amounts of time that the Outers DO show up, it’s always Haruka and Michiru! Setsuna and Hotaru deserve some love too…

I notice that haruka just kind of adds in that “We’re gonna kill you.” part. I always wondered if saturn not hearing well was one of her sicknesses! xD
oh nah, Hotaru doesn’t have any hearing problems ^^; It’s hard to catch something like that if it’s intentionally made hard to hear XD
jajajaja!!! When I began to see SM Stars (a while ago!!!) I was excited ’cause at least we could see ALL the outer senshis in action and what happened… saturn just appeared at the end to be killed, what the hell?!!!
YES. That is exactly the case… v_v I was disappointed that they weren’t in the opening, closing or intermission clips either :O

You’d thinking signing up as a Sailor Senshi would include mandatory benefits such as a cool henshin 8D
This is why Sailor Saturn is an Ensemble Darkhorse.
She’s so awesome yet we never see enough of her.

Hotaru doesn’t have any transformation sequence. That’s what make her special :D
They even gave Sailor Chibimoon a full henshin (used once for the S movie and another in a random episode..)

Well if you want to get techinal she DOES have a transformation sequence…. It’s just not in the anime. It’s in a video game.

I always preferred to theorize that Saturn and Pluto were so awesome and special they didn’t need new attacks or transformation sequences.
It was really all I could do to explain away my disappointment. :(

Poor Hotaru-chan… And all of the senshi actually. I mean, the anime was such a ripoff for all of them! The Outer’s only good season was S, and they didn’t even appear at all in SuperS… I love you, Outers! ;-;
haha yeah..we don’t get to see their henshin as much either even in the episodes they do appear in.

Yay! One for the outers! I love the comic. Poor Hotaru-chan, she didn’t even get a transformation in the anime or an attack that wasn’t all defense or complete utter obliveration. Anyway the outer senshi need more love, especially Saturn and Pluto, so ripped off in the anime. At least Saturn needs more in Stars, her role in Super was fine I guess. One more note I love how you did Hotaru as more hyper and excited when she is usually more mellow and reserved.
hehehe, since being reborn, I always saw her as more cheery and happy person so I decided to make her more ‘alive’ (even though her childhood went by pretty quick @.@)
I think both Pluto and Saturn got ripped off in the last season, so I blame the fact Uranus and Neptune decided to steal all of the very little time outers are on screen LOL. So what else could they be doing? (Use Pluto/Saturn as house cleaning slaves) XD
I also think Hotaru seemed more cheery for after her rebirth, and I personally like that in her character.
Yeah, I have to agree with U&N getting most of the screen time for the outers in super. They are more, what is it… radical when a senshi. :P I always thought that Pluto still had to watch the Time gate and Saturn only ever joins a fight when she absolutely have to, as destruction is a last resort. Also I think the animaters wanted to show how dysfunctional Haruka and Seiya were, as it wasn’t that bad in the manga. Seiya/Usagi also not as obvious either.
Anyway, great comic. I’m glad you did one on the outers again. ^.^ They ALL need some loving. Looking foward to next week.

A season of just the Outer Senshi would be SO AWESOME! In fact, I’d be happy if they made more Sailor Moon in general. I recently finished Stars and I thought “Curses! I’ve run out of Sailor Moon to watch!” I really need to go read the manga now XD The trick is I need to find all the volumes of the manga since it’s freaking OUT OF PRINT [insert angry rant at publishers here] It would be cheaper to buy all of the manga in Japanese! But I’m not yet fluent in Japanese, so I’d have to wait a few years to read it :( Oh well. More motivation to learn kanji I guess XD
Maybe you can try looking for some scanlations online *looks around nervously before she ducks behind the sofa*
