About the Artist

Chibi JenniferHi everyone! I’m known as ‘Chibi Jennifer’ online and sometimes referred to as just Chibi/Chibi Jen. I’m a 20-something year old Chinese girl from Sydney who loves Sailor Moon with a passion. Like many of you, I was first exposed to Sailor Moon through watching the English dubbed version back in 1994, but continued on the rest of the series in Cantonese where I’d rent the VHS from my local video store. I built my first Sailor Moon fansite in 2000 titled Chibi Land (It still exists!).

Apart from being a moonie, I’m a full time web designer. I love illustration/digital painting, blogging, Asian drama and karaoke! Brad of Moonkitty.net has interviewed me on Chibi Land and MoonSticks. Check it out here or watch the latest video interview!

About the Site / FAQs

1. How often do you update with new comics?
MoonSticks previously updated every Friday but as of 13th July 2010, it will be updated on a random basis. Click here for the reasoning behind this.

2. Can I re-post your comics onto my site/blog/tumblr/forum?
Yes you can! However, please give a credit link back to Moonsticks.org so others know where it came from :)

3. Can I translate your comics into my own language?
I’m happy for you to do so provided you give an accurate translation and credit link back to MoonSticks.org. Please do not claim this as your own work.

4. Can I edit them and post them on youtube?
Preferably not… unless you have a REALLY good reason to, please ask for permission and I’ll consider.

5. I have an awesome/funny comic idea! Do you take suggestions?
Suggestions are always welcome! I appreciate them even if I don’t end up using it :)

6. What’s ‘MoonSticks’ exactly? How did you come up with this name?
It’s a pun, referring to Sailor Moon’s wand (The Moon Stick) and ‘stick’ figure drawings :3

7. Have you heard about the new Sailor Moon 2013 anime?
Yes I have and I’m very excited about it! :D I plan to make comics based on the new anime when it gets released too :)

8. How do I get an image (avatar/icon) next to my name when I leave a comment on MoonSticks?
This image is called a “Gravatar” – You can get one by signing up for free here. Once signed up, you can choose your own image and it will appear next to your name on all gravatar enabled sites! How cool is that? :)

9. What happened to the transcriptions?
Unfortunately, there were some complications with it so we had to remove it. I want to thanks these awesome people who contributed: Cycyn, Haruchiru (Spanish), NekoMoni, Phoebilia (German), Bianca (Italian), Toxic Bunny (Russian), Shiroimusume (Dutch) and Lucky (French)
