Maybe it’s cause they’re magical clothes that it’s not as tiring to wear as it would probably be in real life.

This has got to be one of my favorites!!! I love how her smile gets smaller every time. :P (I’m personally a fan of the first season’s outfit; I dislike how they get more and more elaborate.)

And this is why I love Super Sailor Moon’s fuku (I like the one in the 3rd season better because of the back bow/butterfly wings but I like the one in the 4th season too). Eternal Sailor Moon’s wings knocked over plates and stuff in one episode!!
This may also be the reason why Sailor Moon fought Galaxia naked in the last episode: the fuku is to heavy and it’s overkill. Her weapons get heavier and more elaborate too, don’t they?

Moon Eternal Make Up always seemed to be overkill to me…..

Then you haven’t watched the transformation sequences close enough. The first action is they get nail polish. Not quite sure WHY Since they ware gloves but they do. Moon’s is too sparkly to show this but the Mangaka’s sketchs showed they all have them. The outers go beyond this and gives them lipstick as part of the transformation.

THIS IS AMAZING!!!! Sometimes less is more and this couldn’t have been said any better. Also, not to other people on here, if I recall at least in the anime she could use them to fly she only did it like twice though. I almost want to draw Sailormoon with so much stuff people cross their eyes to see it all.

I think she only used them to fly once in stars (she took off into the sky to save Mamoru from Nehellenia)..except her wings didn’t move so maybe it wasn’t the wings that made her fly.
She flies in the final battle against Galaxia, but they weren’t the same Eternal wings.
That was great Chibi-chan I thought only her weapons get heavier but now that you think about it…I bet ESM was dragging herself down with all the weight every time she transforms!

When I was younger, I always remember getting pissed off because Sailor Moon’s transformations kept getting more and more ridiculous. That anorexic bitch can’t possibly be that strong! Keep up the good work. :)
Yeah the especially overdid the upgrade for Eternal Sailor Moon. I liked the Super upgrade but the Eternal was too much. She barely used the freaking wings!!!
She got better (more detailed) and animated wings in her final battle. Made her Eternal fuku look completely pointless XD

Poor Usagi…. It must be a challenge to learn to walk in a heavier outfit every season.
I also think her Super Sailor fuku is the best. Her Eternal fuku bugged me because it had too many solid colours. Also her transformation sequence changed from Ribbons > Feathers > Hearts > Butterflies > Sparklies > Feathers again.
Also, why didn’t the other senshi get a Eternal fuku!? :(
hehe…shouldn’t you be happy the others didn’t get Eternal fuku? XD Otherwise they’d all get solid colors.
I did find it odd that she had wings in her crystal henshin, which was used quite early on the series…and then recycled.
They do get such uniforms in the manga. :)

They got more powerups in the Manga. 3 uniforms. 4 henshin commands for the inners (Name Power, Name Star Power, Name Planet Power (The Outer’s using it makes more sense now doesn’t it!) and Name Crystal power. They used Crystal twice though, Both second and 3rd uniforms used it.) outers started with the 3rd command. Though the heart broach appeared one arc eailer, once the outers starting getting along with the inners, they all got heart brooches to signify this.

I noticed that when a new season comes the name gets longer, similar to the outfit. Every season it gets heavier lol

The only thing I hated about Eternal Sailor Moon was the puffy pink sleeve things and the lack of a tiara.
I was like OMG no more “Moon Tiara Action”?! But… Then I seen that episode were Usagi throws the pizza dough at the phage. I died laughing at that. XD
ahahaha yes! That was really funny! It was nice they put that in actually =)
Since she powers up, it doesn’t make sense that her attack was taken away and replaced with decoration. They should’ve given her a super tiara attack!
The one thing that bugged me about Sailor Moon’s power ups were that she always was unable to use old attacks, which kind of made her the weakest in a way since all the others could use their attacks through out the entire series. Like Mars used ‘Fire Soul’ for all five seasons, while Sailor Moon was never able too use ‘Moon Sprial Heart Attack’ ever again :( kind of sad.
Yup, cause the various attacks could be quite useful, as can be seen when the other senshi use earlier attacks to aid them, like Mercury’s bubbles. I was sad Eternal lost her tiara :( That’s one less attack!
By the point she loses it though, the attack had been proven to be utterly useless. It only popped up once 20 episodes as a distraction to cut what the other senshi are caught in. Her loosing was anything but detrimental. And technically, she lost 3 attacks. In the anime she also used it for Moon Tiara Stardust and in the manga, Moon Twilight Flash, both of which were only used once.

XD Sailor Moon’s fuku just gets more and more elaborate. lol I always loved the Eternal Sailor Moon fuku though. Looks much better in R2 quality, not to mention the manga. I didn’t like Super Sailor Moon that much, since the bow is much smaller than Holy Grail Sailor Moon’s. Longer bow = more lovely.

I just assumed Super Sailor Moon (from Holy Grail), and Super Sailor Moon (from Pegasus) was the same-ish..since they were both referred to as “Super Sailor Moon” I think. The outfit is very similar, except SuperS Sailor Moon’s outfit just didn’t look as WOW as the holy grail..which was shiny and had the gradient skirt. I liked the Holy Grail one too :)

Yeah, you didn’t have to waste many panels to be specific. lolz. But yeah, I consider Holy Grail and Super to be two different transformations, since they come from two different sources of power.
:D Makes me wonder if Chibiusa used the Grail (which she does in Another Story…). Because of her height, she’d be dragging that thing across the floor. ;) Could make a nice Moonstick funny for fans who know the deal with the Super fukus.
She uses the grail in the manga too. They each have their own.
this one made me laugh, real funny. all things comes with sailor moon, i grew to love. at beginning i hated ESM outfit, her henshin and attack, i thought it sucked. now i love everything about ESM, its really pretty. SuperS is downgrade, IDK why.

… You do realize that the USA in Usagi had nothing to do with the color sheme. Her outfit is the “Normal” School Girls colors. And that Usagi means rabbit. Rabbit of the moon….
She did fly once in the beginning of Sailor Stars, but her wings didn’t move so..it probably was only for decoration XD
they actually had functionality in the manga. otherwise in the anime, it’s only useful in knocking over the dishes in the Tsukino household like in that Moon Tiara Pizza episode. XD
Oh yeah, that’s right…she does fly a lot more in the manga!
But she has angel wings during that time. As do Kakyuu and the Starlights. No Eteenral wings here. Honestly, those things are attached at her waist only. There is no way they could suppor her without ripping off the costume.
This is why Super is the best Fuku.
